George’s Home

This work is from a series of photos taken shortly after moving into our current home. Before us George and his family had lived there for 50 years.  The layers of past decorative eras and traces of their family life evident in every space. More than that a series of spectral happenings has reminded us of the presence of past inhabitants,  in a home which still resists change. 

This series observes the home as they were when we arrived.  Taken out of respect for what has passed and
